MXD WRLD: F&A:
Why Do We Care?
According to multiple scientific studies, over 40% of Americans believed that Dinosaurs and Humans coexisted. This is not the case. In fact, Humans and Dinosaurs existed approximately 65 Million Years apart! And that is just a blink of an eye on the Earth we live on, which is over 4.5 Billion years old. At MXD WRLD, we highly encourage our visitors to do their own research: Visit Museums, look into the science behind carbon dating, and please use reliable scientific-based sources. You'll be amazed at what you find!
3D Scanning a 30.5" ~ 73 Million Year Old Triceratops Brow Horn with a likely battle wound in its front third.
We use cutting edge technology to take 3D scans of Fossils & Antiquities, as seen above. We then clean up the 3D scans in Blender, allowing us to obtain a true Digitally Recreated artifact.
Then, we miniaturize and 3D Print each Fossil & Artifact to create Physical and Virtual Fashion, such as earrings and pendants.
Once the molds have been created, we use a variety of precious metals to allow one piece's singular beauty to be enjoyed by the masses. This is a 4 inch Sterling Silver Pendant of that exact Triceratops Brow Horn.

Email info@mxdwrld.com to inquire about our Triceratops Pendants or the Majestic Horn itself. Our collection is ever-expanding, so please don't hesitate to reach out regarding other Fossils & Antiquities. They will be posted in the shop soon!
Because all of these Fossils & Antiquities are one-of-a-kind, we will be creating an educational and informative 3D Virtual Gallery to open up accessibility to these often gate-kept pieces, which often find themselves in private collections.

They were prestige objects of the highest level and required a great deal of wealth to acquire, most often out of the reach of the common citizen of the day where axes were the most common weapon. Byzantine Roman Cavalry Iron Throwing Javelin Spearhead
This is a socketed iron javelin spearhead meant to be mounted on a pole and used as a throwing javelin spear from the back of a cavalry horse by a mounted soldier. It was used by the Roman Byzantine military and is a superb example in rare, complete condition. Roman Byzantine cavalry employed a variety of spears and javelins, some thrown and some used for repeated stabbing of enemy soldiers. The thickness of the socket indicated the heft of the pole they were mounted on. Large poles with small heads were ideal for repeated use where the pole would not break and the head would not get stuck in an enemy's body. Larger heads with smaller diameter poles and shafts were designed for throwing where the larger head added weight for power in the throw, and the narrower shaft aided flight. With a complete socket!
